Because of the ravishes of war, much of West Africa is struggling to regain strength for their people and families in the form of most basic needs and sustenance. As little as forty-five US Dollars can provide a one-hundred pound bag of rice to feed an average family for a month’s time.
There are many children who have been displaced from their natural families. Other families have taken them in, but the burden is great and the funds are not available for basic education.
